This seaside house from the 1920s is a second home occupied about 1-2 weeks a month. It accommodates an average of 4 people. The house is 60m2 on the ground and has been enlarged afterwards to allow the creation of two new bedrooms.
In addition to being passionate about solar energy, Jean-Paul is a real handyman. “The installer is myself. I did the whole thing, the support, the installation of the panels, the electrical connection, the installation of the water heater, the plumbing…”.
Indeed, it is possible to buy your solar panels and install them yourself.
More than a year after the construction site, Jean-Paul says: “I am completely satisfied with this installation. Here we recover 80% of the sun’s energy, whereas on a photovoltaic panel it’s not even 20%. Many public swimming pools should be equipped with DualSun because it allows both to have an electrical supply and to heat the water as soon as the sun is there.”
