His 120 m2 house in Bouc-Bel-Air, Bouches-du-Rhône, has a beautiful south-facing roof. With 2 or 3 people living there, it’s ideal for the installation of 15 m2 of solar panels.
In addition to installing 8 solar panels, Gérard also insulated the interior and exterior, fitted double glazing and installed a heat pump. As a result, his house is remarkably well insulated, which combines well with solar self-consumption with resale of the surplus.
For Gérard being self-sufficient is important, but it’s also important to limit costs. He and his wife, for example, are careful with their consumption in normal times. Now they like to run their machines on solar power. He is also very interested in the possibility of tracking solar production via smartphone in real time.
In operation since August 2022, they have already achieved savings of 54%, and 34% in the middle of winter. Their goal is to achieve a total of 50% savings, not to mention the sale of surplus electricity at a later date.
When Gérard decided to install solar panels, he called in several installers. His choice fell on one of our partner installers, who then suggested our solar panels.
The installation went very smoothly. Everything went very smoothly from deposit to completion. At the same time, he appreciated the Dualsun presentation and the feedback gleaned from our website. Add to that our geographical proximity, and the 25-year warranty on our products!
“I can only recommend this type of installation”
