An ambitious solar installation for a sustainable future
At the heart of the Marcel-Cerdan sports complex in Poissy, 1,300 m² of photovoltaic shading have transformed the parking lot into an efficient solar power plant.
Built by Eiffage in partnership with the Syndicat d’Énergie des Yvelines (SEY) and 50% financed by the Île-de-France region, the facility produces 250,000 kWh a year, equivalent to the consumption of 30 households.
These 588 Dualsun FLASH photovoltaic panels power several municipal infrastructures, including nearby schools and gymnasiums. In fact, they play an active role in reducing CO2 emissions, while at the same time controlling energy supplies. As Sandrine Berno Dos Santos, Mayor of Poissy, points out, this installation represents “a major step forward in reducing our carbon footprint and securing our energy production”.
Concrete, measurable benefits
Equipped with an integrated information panel, the solar installation enables citizens to track electricity production and CO2 savings in real time. In addition to generating clean energy, the shades provide a shaded area for parking lot users, combining comfort and sustainability.
This project is a concrete illustration of the city of Poissy’s commitment to the energy transition, while highlighting Eiffage’s expertise in deploying this installation!
