In 2018, Christian and his wife asked themselves how they could improve their energy equipment. By choosing to install 4 DualSun hybrid solar panels, they can benefit from all their energy in self-consumption.

In fact, the photovoltaic electricity equivalent to 1.12kW is consumed directly in the house. As for solar hot water, it’s stored in a 200L water tank. It’s always available!

Christian explains that they decided to install solar panels on their roof “quite simply”.

Starting with a thermal diagnosis for their house, built in 2000, Christian and his partner developed a proposal for an upgrade with a solar water heater, so they wouldn’t have to use the gas boiler in summer.

Gradually, they extended their project to include the installation of solar panels on their roof to enable them to consume their own electricity.

“In our case, resale was impossible because the house was so far from the electricity meter,” he explains.

What is the optimal orientation and tilt angle for solar panels ?

A meeting with a panel installer led them to our DualSun hybrid solar solution to produce both domestic hot water and photovoltaic electricity.

He is the 3rd owner of this house, which, thanks to him, is now much more valuable!

“I have nothing but good things to say about solar energy”. Christian
