After spending many years in Asia, Yvon and his wife finally settled in Provence, on a former farm, with their 2 children.

In 2017, 48 DualSun SPRING and FLASH panels were installed on the shed roof of this magnificent, fully renovated Provencal farmhouse.

“The choice to install solar panels is part of a global approach to environmental awareness. In Provence, the obvious resource is the sun, and we had the space available to do it.” Yvon

An engineer with a passion for technology and renewable energies, Yvon had met the co-founder of DualSun and was convinced by the hybrid solar technology. With his wife, they didn’t hesitate to devote a large section of their roof to this solar project.

“We were lucky enough to meet the management of DualSun. The company immediately caught my husband’s eye. He found the system extremely interesting and innovative, with extraordinary potential. We particularly like the technique that allows us to heat water at the same time as generating electricity, which is a double advantage.”

Mr. and Mrs. Choï have devoted part of their Provencal farmhouse to the construction of a gîte. Their DualSun installation gives them a certain amplitude for their daily energy needs.

“At the moment (in September 2017 NDLR) with our installation we have the capacity to heat 4 bathrooms. DualSun is a system that I recommend from an ecological, energy and financial point of view”.

The installation went very well, it was carried out by an approved DualSun installer who was suggested by DualSun. “I have nothing but positive things to say about them: they were very professional, patient and diligent with me, who didn’t know much about electricity,” she told us during our interview.

In the future, Yvon and his wife will continue to take an interest in solar innovations: “in the long term, we hope to be autonomous by installing batteries to store the energy we currently sell” – a prospect that is becoming increasingly feasible in view of the advances in this sector!
