Maximum sunshine
We’re in Cogolin, between Saint-Tropez and Sainte-Maxime, in the Var department. There’s no need to look for the sun here, as it shines abundantly all year round. In fact, it’s one of the sunniest places in France, with almost 2,750 hours of sunshine recorded over the year, and a maximum of 355 hours in August!
In these conditions, the installation of DualSun solar panels is highly attractive: they should achieve peak photovoltaic output and provide hundreds of liters of domestic hot water!
The lucky owners of this DualSun system are a carpenter in his case, and a management assistant in hers, with 3 children at home. This family wanted to find an ingenious ecological solution to both do something for the planet, and make substantial savings on their energy bills, by selling the electricity produced back to E.D.F.
Since 2015, they have been equipped with a 3 kWp kit. The solar panels are integrated into the roof of this detached house for a harmonious visual appearance.
This solar kit includes :
- 4 DualSun hybrid panels
- 8 PV solar panels
- A 400-liter tank to store the domestic hot water produced by the panels.
Quick construction thanks to easy installation of DualSun panels
The installation work took place in March 2015, under the supervision of a team of partner installers. Quickly operational, the solar panels began to efficiently produce energy thanks to the most wonderful of resources, inexhaustible and free: DualSun panels already promise excellent results!
