In July 2013, acclaimed French creator Philippe Starck and Slovenian building company Riko unveiled a new line of “Prefabricated Accessible Technological Homes” – P.A.T.H., a unique turnkey living solution combining timeless design, high technology, comfort, and respect for the environment.

Philippe Starck selected DualSun and IRFTS, two innovative French startup companies, to provide a powerful solar energy solution for the P.A.T.H. homes.

DualSun is an advanced hybrid solar panel that produces simultaneously electricity and hot water for homes.  The DualSun panel, a high-performance technology specifically designed to respond to modern housing needs, produces three  times more energy than a standard photovoltaic panel.

Combined with IRFTS’ EASY ROOF mounting system, the DualSun panels can be adapted for all building types. With DualSun and EASY ROOF, buildings are transformed from energy consumers to energy producers.

Respect for the environment has always been an essential mission for Philippe Starck and the development of the P.A.T.H. concept. Starck and Riko made the natural choice to equip P.A.T.H. homes with DualSun solar panels and the EASY ROOF mounting system, which together, provide a clean and powerful solution for energy needs of the home.
